“ Best kept secret on the southside of town. Market Grocery is a wholesale depot of perishable and non perishable foods as well as other goods like butt paper, paper towel, aluminum foil and etc. You ain't gotta pay no membership fees, you ain't gotta have no business licence, you ain't gotta spend a minimum amount - all you gotta do is show up and stock pile a bunch of stuff and release the hoarder in you! This place is the doomsday headquarters for people who don't have a Sam's or Costco membership. Plus, their prices are commensurate with those you'd find at other wholesale warehouses. My only beef though is that they usually only have 2 or 3 cashiers. You could imagine that people are most likely to buy a lot of stuff when they come here, so checkout times can get to be 15 to 20 minutes when a line forms. And checkout is done with a cashier and a clerk who calls out the items you have. They don't have conveyor belt scanners or lanes. But if not having those things keeps the prices down, I'm all for it. ”
